The August weather has been great for caravanning and camping this year and so what could be more likely to cause a blip in the settled run than the August Bank Holiday?!

Harbury Fields is full of campers this weekend, with many taking advantage of our proximity to lots of outdoor attractions in our area, such as Leamington Spa, Warwick (Warwick Castle & St Nicholas Park), Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s Birth Place), The British Motor Museum at Gaydon and many National Trust houses to name but a few!

Additionally, as the weather has been warm, we have noticed our guests spending more time on the site too, with the grass areas around each pitch giving plenty of space and privacy to relax.

After a short thunderstorm and an hour of heavy rain on Saturday morning, the sky cleared up beautifully, leaving a great weather forecast for exploring in our area during the next week. The storm’s silver lining turned out to be the most beautiful rainbow above the site as it departed, we captured a shot over our new pitches on the phone camera!IMG_4781
